Reunions at People Search Reunion Stories

    Hi Find A Friend,

    I just wanted to send you a note letting you know that I've found my birth-family!!!
    I sent letters to all the ... and the 1 Genevie on 6/30 and got back 2 replies on 7/7.
    One from MN and the other one from Montello, WI.

    The one from MN wasn't it, he had been in MN all his life, born in 1960. But the other
    one wanted to know what I meant by "small reunion" and that he may be able to help
    me but needed more information.

    So, using the number you had listed for the address I called him and introduced
    myself said that I was adopted and looking for my birth family. He asked when my
    birthdate was and when I said it his wife on the extension said, "Michael, this is your
    mother!", as everyone on the phone started crying. It was a great moment.

    Thanks for the info. I tracked down my biological mother 28 years later. I saw her
    Sunday and she was tickled pink. I will go next Sunday and meet the rest of the long
    lost family. Thanks for closing a big question in my life.

    time was at age four.

    It's freaky. Three siblings I've never met. They are really into meeting me. I'm
    nervous. Thirteen nieces and nephews I've never met.

    A while back I had you conduct a search for an old friend I hadn't heard from in a
    year and a half. Well, after a month of putting it off, I finally wrote to her, and two
    agonizing weeks later, I had a call from her on my answering machine. Now, we've
    spent a couple of exhilarating weeks together, and I find myself wishing (again) we
    were more than friends. Since we're not on opposite sides of the country, finally,
    maybe that can happen. Whether or not it does, I have to thank you for the part
    you played in making possible the two best weekends in my entire life. Thank you.
